Rent, bills and groceries

When the paychecks stopped, the bills didn't. Rent, electricity, prescriptions, groceries. I couldn't go back to an office, and I couldn't count on my body to keep a schedule anyone else would accept.

So I opened an OnlyFans account. I'm not going to dress it up: I did it to pay my bills and to buy food.

I'm not ashamed of it. I was a woman trying to get by.

I know how that sentence lands for some people. I've read the comments. I thought some of those things too, before I was the one sitting at the kitchen table doing the math.

What I didn't know yet was that this would become about much more than money.
